Meco Corporation is a privately owned company located in Greeneville, TN, which is also home to our 750,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Metal Engineering Corporation, MECO, was founded in 1959 as a metal fabrication job shop. In 1969, Meco began producing charcoal & electric grills. It produced all these products under the Meco and private label brands for many years. In 1999 Meco introduced the Aussie line of & charcoal grill, which has been a huge success.
For years, Meco has been recognized for “Setting the Standard” in the retail market as a major manufacturer of charcoal, electric, and water smoker grills and folding furniture.
